27.5 Boost Disc Brake Wheel Set with Thru Axle and Tubeless Tires

The Fantom Boost Wheels from WTB are 27.5" wheels designed for multi-speed bikes. These wheels are the same as those found on the Motobecane Fantom Boost Trail bicycle available at Bikesdirect. Featuring a 27.5 x 35.0mm size, the rims are made from 6061 T6 aluminum with a WTB STP i30 27.5" TCS tubeless-compatible design and a matte black finish.

The wheels come equipped with 14-gauge stainless steel spokes, with 32 spokes on both the front and rear wheels. The spokes are laced in a 3-cross pattern and have brass, chrome-plated nipples. The wheels are compatible with 7, 8, 9, and 10-speed cassettes, though 7-speed users will need a 4.5mm spacer.

The hubs are made from 6061 T6 aluminum and feature sealed cartridge bearings. They are black in color and are designed for 6-bolt disc brakes. The wheels utilize a Boost spacing of 110mm on the front and 148mm on the rear, accommodating thru-axles. The rear thru-axle is included with the wheels.

Mounted on the wheels are CST Patrol 27.5 x 2.80 tires, which are already pre-installed with tubes. The rims are designed for Presta valves and are WTB's STP i30 TCS clincher model.
